About CloseKit

CloseKit is month-end close management for the bookkeeping firms the big tools price out. Double (formerly Keeper) serves 4,000+ firms at $10–$50 per client per month; Financial Cents and Jetpack Workflow charge per user. For a solo bookkeeper or a three-person firm, the close — one repeatable job — ends up costing more than the accounting software it surrounds, so it stays in a spreadsheet.

We're in pre-launch. The close engine is built and tested (39 automated tests, all passing): template-driven close generation with business-day due dates, reviewer sign-off enforcement, document-request reminder queues, and close packages with full audit trails.

CloseKit runs the close process; it does not do the bookkeeping. Your accounting system holds the books — we make sure the monthly work around it happens on time, in order, reviewed, and on the record.

What we won't do

We won't meter your clients or your seats inside a plan, we won't promise a close-by date or hours saved, and we won't claim integrations that don't exist — QuickBooks/Xero sync and a client portal are roadmap items, labeled as such.
